Saturday was our last day and started at 7:30 am because our destination was close by. Our caravan of cars headed off to see a round barn by the tracks. It was an easy drive and the caravan stayed together very well. After we parked, John Barclay, our co-leader, got out and talked to a woman who lives across the street. She was out watering and we were impressed with the wonderful flowers growing in her yard. John asked if it was alright for us to take pictures of the flowers. The woman was OK with that and gave John some information about the history of the area. After a few pictures of the flowers most of us turned our attention to the round barn across the street.

Breakfast was next on the agenda. Then we headed out for The Breakfast Club in Moscow, WA. We parked behind the restaurant and noticed that there was a street fair going on in front. The street was closed to vehicles and there were stands set up for various food stuffs and information. Our leader, John Barclay, told us we must have the cinnamon roll pancake. It was not to be missed but better to share as a total sugar rush. CJ and I shared one and John was right - it tasted great and very sweet. This was the end of the workshop and we said goodbyes to those who were off traveling.

John Barclay had given us directions to places to explore after breakfast as we still had the rest of the day in Pullman. After a stop back at the hotel we gathered to head out again. Lynne, Megg, Roseann, CJ and I headed off to find more things to photograph. There was a bit of confusion trying to find the first location as we headed onto the road from the opposite directions from John's description. The car GPS helped and we did get there. CJ and I rode with Lynne in her car while Megg and Roseann followed in Megg's Jeep. It was fun to try to find our way around. We stopped for an old abandoned barn that a bird was using by going in and out of a knothole. Hard to get pictures of that since the bird did not hold still. Grain silos got our attention next. Not up to the Uniontown more modern silos but still fun.

John had told us about a line of old trucks we might see from the road. He reminded us to ask for permission before photographing them. We found the trucks and did get permission from the homeowner. She said the trucks were gathered by her father. After he passed, her husband lined them up as a tribute to him. It was very nice of her to allow us to photograph these old trucks and farm vehicles.

A red barn attracted our attention. It was down a winding road and we stopped at several turns to get different views. We liked one of the spots best because you could see a field in front with recently created bales.

We managed to find an overlook John had described. He also said to look back over your shoulder after getting there. He was right, there was a great sweeping view behind as well a good views ahead.

On several days we had passed a dilapidated, wooden grain elevator that sits close to the road. It is in a sad state of collapse but not all the way yet. We decided this would be our last stop for the day. It was a good one and kind of sad to be the last.

CJ and I were ready for some down time at the hotel. It would be an early wake-up to get to our flight in Spokane on time. What a great trip.

Thanks for reading.
